D. Kyler Crawford, DVM
Dr. Kyler Crawford is a native of Patterson, Georgia where he spent his childhood showing livestock and competing in equine related events with brother and parents. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Crawford continued his education at UGA obtaining a BS in Education. In 2003, He completed a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine granted by the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. His professional interests include orthopedic and soft surgery, as well as dentistry.
In March of 2005, Dr. Crawford purchased Americus Veterinary Hospital from its long-time owner Dr. Timothy Malcolm.
Dr. Crawford is active in his community and a member of the Chamber of Commerce. He, his wife Leslie, daughter, Kylee Ann, and sons, Colton and Carter, are active members of First Baptist Church of Americus. Rounding out the family are four dogs, Samantha, Izzy, Winston, Remington and 9 cats Sadie, McKenzie, Lil’ Wayne, Megan the Stallion, Oreo, Ollie, Abby, Mylo and Cyrus.
When away from the office, his hobbies include spending time at the lake, golf, hunting, fishing and quality time with family and friends.
ANGIE Davenport-Miller, DVM
Dr. Angie Miller is originally from Americus and joined the team in 2015. Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Georgia in 2010 with a degree in Animal Science and graduated in 2015 from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently resides in Americus with her husband, Jesse, their son, Graham, their daughter, Natalie and their four-legged housemates.
Dr. Miller's extended family includes three dogs named Kudrow, Luke and Ruby, and one cat, Sully. She is an active member of Concord United Methodist Church of Americus. Dr. Miller enjoys refinishing furniture, cooking, horseback riding and outdoor activities in her spare time.
As a graduate of the University of Georgia, Dr. Miller and her husband enjoy attending football games in Athens rooting on the Bulldogs. Dr. Miller has a special interest in Equine Medicine and Dentistry.
TANZY A. EASOM, DVM
Dr. Tanzy Easom received her doctorate of veterinary medicine from Lincoln Memorial University- College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia. She has been practicing small animal medicine for the past couple of years, though she has an extensive poultry background and an interest in working with small ruminants and pigs.
Dr. Easom was born and raised in Americus, GA and she is thankful to be serving the community she calls home. She is the daughter of Steve and Debbie Brown. She resides in Americus with her husband, Mitchell Easom, their precious newborn, Billie Ann, and their four dogs, four cats, and a farm full of ducks.
Ansleigh attended Georgia Southern University for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Biology before graduating from Tuskegee University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
After moving around the country frequently as a child, she and her parents have settled near extended family in her mothers hometown of Andersonville.
In her free time, she enjoys crafting and spending time outdoors hiking and swimming with her dog, Reba!
After working under the mentorship of Dr. Crawford and Dr. Miller for years, she is excited to return to AVH as a veterinarian!
